Tech Overview
Clickup is a cloud based project and task management tool that we use to keep track of what we do and when we do it. We create “cards” for projects and “subtasks” for the pieces of each project. “Checklists” are created within each of these to indicate when each piece is done and ready to mark as complete.
Slack is a messaging application that we use for team members to connect us to information we need. Slack utilizes Channels to separate topics, making sure information is communicated to the right team members. This also helps make information easy to find. Our team uses it for general communication that is not urgent.
Google Workspace is a collection of cloud based tools. Our team use it for email, calendaring and to store shared documents.
Voxer is a free walkie-talkie app that can be used on either your desktop or on your smartphone. You can voice message, text or send files or photos. Our team uses this for daily communication. This is the preferred method of communication for most team members if you require a quicker a quicker response.
Gusto is a Human Resources tool that we use primarily to track time off and to process payroll for both employees and contractors.
Loom is a video messaging tool that is used frequently within our team. It can be used for a number of reasons, but we use it primarily to document processes and procedures, but it can also be effective in communication a question about tech or other issue you may encounter.
Dashlane is a password manager that keeps company passwords secure. You will need to download the chrome extension to effectively use this. We will share all applicable passwords – that will remain encrypted – with your Dashlane account which will give you access to certain websites that you will need to perform your job functions.
